How it works in practice

Every booking link and every availability panel here carries an affiliate tag. Click one, book within the tracking window, and the sale is attributed to this site. That commission is what pays for the research: reading operator listings line by line, checking museum opening seasons against the museums’ own pages, and re-checking the things that move, such as the Pointe du Hoc renovation and the American Cemetery’s coming pre-registration system.

What it does not do

It does not decide the rankings. The clearest evidence of that is on the reviews page, where one of the six tours is described as the lowest-rated of the lot with the reasons spelled out, another is flagged for having only twenty-five reviews behind its perfect score, and a third is marked with a warning that one of its stops may be closed for renovation. A site optimising purely for commission would not write any of that.

It also does not affect what you pay, and it is not the reason no prices appear here. Prices are absent because they move with date, season and party size and a stale figure helps nobody — the fuller explanation is on the about page, and what actually changes the number is on what a tour costs.

Independence

This site is not a tour operator, not a booking agent, and not affiliated with the American Battle Monuments Commission, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, the Mémorial de Caen, the Juno Beach Centre or Normandy Tourism. No operator pays for placement or sees a page before it goes up. If you think something here reads as though it were bought, tell me.
